Visiting Jalan Alor and want to try Chinese food in Kuala Lumpur? I recommend going to Jalan Alor. This area is over near Bukit Bintang so you can get off at this subway station if you are traveling from another area.

Why visit Jalan Alor? There are so many street food stalls of local Chinese food and other cuisines such as Malay and Thai. Beer is also served at many of the food stalls. Just walk down the street and enjoy the many street food vendors selling a variety of local cuisines! Here, you will get to try Chinese food in Kuala Lumpur.

The food market is open from 5PM till late every evening. Once you’ve had your food, you can go over to the nightlife area of Bukit Bintang.

There are several bars in this area which have different kinds of music. Many of the people working at these establishments will stand outside and try to convince you on their drink special. My advice is to just keep walking until you find a place that has a good atmosphere in which you would like to spend your time.

Here are some of my shots using the Narrative 2 Clip Camera (It's a really cool wearable camera!):

My nightlife recommendations for Bukit Bintang are:

Havana- Two floors and it has an outdoor bar. Great atmosphere here and has a dance floor upstairs.

Pisco Bar- It's a Peruvian Bar which plays deep house music and serves Peruvian style dishes!

Stay tuned for more updates on travel this year!
