The next day I had Bahn Mi on my mind. It is a Vietnamese baguette which comes with: daikon, carrot, cilantro, chilis, and protein meats. I asked some locals and was told to go to Bahn Mi Huyn Hoa. As soon as I arrived, I saw many people working there preparing the ingredients for the sandwiches so I could tell it was a well run operation. I ordered a sandwich for 35k dong. It only took a few minutes before it was in my hand ready to devour.

In case you are wondering what to do in Nagoya, Japan look no further! The food is absolutely delicious!
This past weekend I had the opportunity to visit Nagoya from Tokyo. I never had given visiting Nagoya much thought but began to do some research before my trip. Apparently, the Japanese chicken wings called tebasaki in Japanese are quite famous in Nagoya as well as the miso katsu which is a pork cutlet with miso based sauce.
Visiting Jalan Alor and want to try Chinese food in Kuala Lumpur? I recommend going to Jalan Alor. This area is over near Bukit Bintang so you can get off at this subway station if you are traveling from another area.
Why visit Jalan Alor? There are so many street food stalls of local Chinese food and other cuisines such as Malay and Thai. Beer is also served at many of the food stalls. Just walk down the street and enjoy the many street food vendors selling a variety of local cuisines! Here, you will get to try Chinese food in Kuala Lumpur.

Raohe Night Market felt like a completely different planet. The main entrance is next to a giant beautiful temple that people crown in front to take a picture. There is a giant sign at the entrance that makes you feel like you are entering Disney World (minus the overweight Americans). Right as I walked in I saw the long line for the famous Pepper Pork Buns. My heart was a little discouraged but I waited anyways. The line moves pretty quickly so in no time I was holding a piping hot bun in a piece of parchment paper. Seriously, there is just no comparison. The pork buns are cooked in a tandoori style oven so the bottoms of the buns are a little burnt and perfectly crunchy. The dough is flaky like a croissant dough but oh so soft and delicious. Then we get to the filling! These buns are stuffed with pork that has been HEAVILY season with pepper, and then receive a generous helping of scallions, or green onions. They are juicy, tender, flaky and have the most perfect kick. I have been back home for over a week now and I still find myself thinking about that magical bun.
