The next day I had Bahn Mi on my mind. It is a Vietnamese baguette which comes with: daikon, carrot, cilantro, chilis, and protein meats. I asked some locals and was told to go to Bahn Mi Huyn Hoa. As soon as I arrived, I saw many people working there preparing the ingredients for the sandwiches so I could tell it was a well run operation. I ordered a sandwich for 35k dong. It only took a few minutes before it was in my hand ready to devour.

Looking for some fun things to do in Saigon? The first day in arriving to Ho Chi Minh City it brought nostalgia after 4 years visiting prior. This would be a different trip since my last there were many changes. First, I wasn’t on a long backpacking trip and second on this trip I was more focused on the craft beer and food scene of HCM since I heard there has been a rapid change in both scenes. This is what this post will focus on.
