Without a doubt, Titans is one of the best Tokyo craft beer bars!
I first visited Titans when they opened about 6 months ago and was impressed. It had a very relaxed atmosphere, variety of craft beers, and friendly and knowledgeable staff. This venue stands out in Otsuka and I got the opportunity to sit down with one of the owners, Todd to discuss his views on craft beer and the bar in general.
In case you are wondering where to find the best ramen in Tokyo, check out this post about a hidden ramen place I found.
Today, I got a chance to check out a one of the top yakitori restaurants in Tokyo from a friend of mine in the Otsuka area. For those of you who already know, I did a feature on a Michelin star ramen restaurant in Tokyo. This new restaurant that my friend recommended is called Souten Minamiguchi and it’s a Michelin star yakitori restaurant. Yakitori is Japanese style grill or skewered chicken pieces: gizzard, stomach, liver, etc. It is usually eaten with groups of people along with sake or beer. Souten specializes in delicious free-range chicken for their yakitori as well as their craft sake.
Today, I got an opportunity to visit Asakusa. It is a historical neighborhood in Tokyo. In case, you are wondering, “What do in Asakusa?” this post should help you in guiding your decision. I highly recommend visiting it since you will get to see some beautiful temples, traditional Japanese architecture, see the Tokyo Sky Tree and try some delicious foods.
I got a chance to check out DevilCraft a Tokyo based brewery for American food in Tokyo. If you are craving American style pizza and craft beer Tokyo, this is your restaurant. Many of the pizza places in Tokyo are more Neapolitan style pizza so it was a real find to encounter this Chicago style pizza restaurant. It is within walking distance to Kanda Station. Here is a picture of the building making it easier to find:
